Privacy Policy for WageFlow

1. Information you enter and store locally

WageFlow can store the information you choose to enter, including your display name, job names, region, currency, hourly rates, shift dates and times, breaks, overtime settings, tips, bonuses, mileage, notes, shift patterns, theme, and language preferences. This information is persisted locally on your device. WageFlow does not provide an account, cloud sync, or a WageFlow server that receives your complete shift history.

• You control the information stored in the app.
• Backup export is optional and is created only when you request it. The resulting file is shared through your device's operating-system share sheet, so the recipient and any cloud or messaging service you choose may receive it.
• Deleting the app, clearing its data, or losing your device can permanently remove local records. Keep your own backup if you need one.

2. Analytics and diagnostics

When analytics are enabled for a release, the mobile app and website use PostHog to understand product usage, improve navigation, measure downloads and feature engagement, and identify technical problems. The mobile app also uses Sentry for error diagnostics and sampled session replay. These providers may process technical identifiers, device or browser information, IP address, approximate location derived from IP, operating-system and app version, screen or page activity, referrer and campaign information, and diagnostic logs.

• The mobile app creates a random installation identifier and may associate it with the display name you provide, region, currency, configured hourly rate, job-name values, feature counts, aggregate hours or earnings, subscription state, language, and app events.
• Analytics events are intended to contain usage measurements rather than your complete shift records. Do not enter information in a screen or support message that you do not want included in a diagnostic report.
• Sentry replay and feedback features may capture portions of the app interface around an error. We do not intentionally request your passwords, payment-card numbers, or complete backup files.

3. Purchases and subscriptions

WageFlow Pro is offered through Apple's App Store where available. RevenueCat helps the app retrieve products, manage entitlements, restore purchases, and localize the paywall. Apple and RevenueCat may process transaction, subscription, device, and app-install identifiers needed to complete or restore a purchase. WageFlow does not receive or store your full payment-card number.

• Apple controls payment processing, billing, refunds, and the payment information held for your App Store account.
• Subscription status may be cached locally so Pro features continue to work when the app is offline.
• Manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple account. App Store terms and refund rules also apply.

4. Notifications, updates, and device permissions

If you grant permission, WageFlow schedules shift reminders locally on your device. Notification content is generated from the shift and job information already stored on that device; WageFlow does not need a server to send those reminders. The app may also check a WageFlow-hosted update policy to tell you when a newer version is available. That request can include ordinary web-request information such as your IP address, browser or device user agent, and timestamp.

• You can deny or revoke notification permission in your device settings.
• The app does not sell your records or use them for advertising.

5. Website data and cookies

The WageFlow website uses PostHog through a first-party proxy for page views, campaign attribution, calculator and content interactions, and error reporting. PostHog may use cookies or local storage, depending on your browser and the configuration active for the site. The website does not offer WageFlow accounts or a public dashboard containing your mobile records.

• Links to the App Store, email, and third-party feedback services may take you to services with their own privacy policies.
• Keystatic is an internal content-management tool and is not a consumer account service.

6. Service providers and international transfers

We use service providers such as PostHog for analytics, Sentry for diagnostics, RevenueCat for subscription infrastructure, Apple for App Store distribution and payments, and hosting or delivery providers for the website and update file. These providers process information on our behalf or under their own terms to provide their services. They may process information in countries different from where you live.

7. Retention, access, and deletion

Local app records remain on your device until you delete them, clear the app's data, or uninstall WageFlow. Analytics and diagnostic records are retained according to the relevant provider's settings and operational needs. You may ask us what information is associated with a support request or analytics identifier and request deletion where applicable by emailing dev@abdelrany.com. We may need enough information to verify and locate a request, and some records may need to be retained for security, fraud prevention, legal obligations, or transaction support.

8. Legal bases and privacy rights

Where privacy law applies, we process information as needed to provide the app and requested purchases, to operate and secure the website, to respond to support requests, and—where permitted—to pursue legitimate interests such as product analytics and reliability. We request consent where a law requires it, including for device notifications or optional permissions. Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object to, or export personal information, and to withdraw consent. You may also complain to your local data-protection authority.

9. Children

WageFlow is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If your local law sets a higher minimum age, that age applies. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information so we can review and delete it where appropriate.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy when the app, website, providers, or applicable law changes. We will post the revised version on this page and update the effective date. Your continued use after the effective date means the updated policy applies to future use, subject to any rights required by law.
